Relic Dungeon 1.1 and Instruction Manual!


The final version of Relic Dungeon is now available! And with it comes the official 36-page Instruction Manual!

Please read the change log since some core mechanics have been changed!


Changes:

- smaller collision box for player's tile collision

- sell items PRICES are reduced (now Item value divided by 4)

- STAT POTIONS price is now 300

- HEROES POTIONS price is now 600

- FENIX FEATHER price is now 120

- FIREBALL TORCHES will now blink some time before shooting

- preventing STAIRS from spawning too near to passage-ways, to avoid accidentally entering them

- hold SELECT to walk over stairs instead of entering

- with full power-meter, instead of always triggering special attack, you now have to hold A-BUTTON to trigger the special attack

- better entity placement across the floor -> less empty rooms

- BLADE TRAPS will no longer accidentally spawn in passageways, which could result in weird behaviour when doors are locked

- upon entering a new floor, the game is set on hold until the player moves (or presses any button), to prevent getting hit before knowing where you are

- Damage from FIREBALL TORCHES now scales with current floor player is on -> MAGIC DAMAGE = (5 + (current_floor / 4)) max 30, instead of before fixed value of 10

- Chests will now not vanish if you can't carry the item inside

- BLADE TRAPS no longer wiggle for 1 pixel when move paths are blocked

- Music was refined -> less repetitive

- HP / MP values can no longer exceed maximum display numbers

- new room layouts

- MINI MAP in menu now shows interesting rooms (SHOPS and MAGIC VORTICES)
