Just finished the demo and it was absolutely great! I hope this game is still being worked on, I will definitely buy it once it releases. The demo is already showing so much content of the game and leaves a big appetite for more. Graphics are very nice, I especially liked design of the enemies (rats with sticks instead of swords were super cute). Controls feel great, though it could be a nice addition if it was possible to roll in 8 directions, not in 4. Overworld feels very expensive and has a lot of secrets, dungeons are well designed, not too complicated, but not too simplistic either. However, I would suggest changing "teleportation" effect, because currently it is harsh on the eyes, with pixels rapidly growing and shrinking. Also, the overworld map could use a little QoL features, like zooming in and out, resetting to players position and more clearly visible markers of player and important places. Other than that, I was an absolutely delightful experience and I hope to see a full release!

In my head cannon, this takes place in the downfall timeline. Surely after the death of King Gannon, malice still flies in the air. And evil men still plot. Far away from Hyrule, lies the country of Arken.

Played the demo, very nice! I just have some QOL suggestions. The map looks great, but maybe have a default zoomed out version that shows the entire world? Would save some scrolling time. Id also separate the confirm/back buttons from roll/sword actions. Not a huge deal, but I could see it being annoying for some who change the defaults. Last, I would slip off the push blocks if I wasn’t directly on them. It’s nice not getting stuck on walls, but maybe not have it on interactive objects? Very polished demo though, nice work!
